Malay Pit biography

Mr Malay Pit was born in West Bengal, India. His father, Late Mr.Bhairab Chandra Pit, was a dedicated farmer who worked hard his entire life to provide good life for the family. His mother was a housewife who supported the family in every way she could with love and care. He grew up in a farming household and was exposed to the challenges of agrarian life from a young age. Witnessing his father’s relentless efforts and the struggles that came with it left a deep impression on him. Life was never easy for him. His early days were full of hardships and adversity. After working some time as a farmer himself, he experienced

first-hand the difficulties of working the land, battling erratic weather, and facing financial instability. Later, when he became a labourer, the struggles took a new form. As a labourer, he witnessed the harsh realities of discrimination, exploitation, and the lack of respect that workers in such positions often faced. He knew he did not want to spend his life trapped in the cycle of poverty and struggle. He aspired to break free from these circumstances and dared to dream bigger. The turning point came when he resolved to not only change his own circumstances but also to help others escape the vicious cycle of labour and hardship. Determined to make a difference, he took a leap of faith and worked on creating opportunities for others to lead better lives.

About Him

West Bengal is a state often perceived as struggling with poverty and underdevelopment, especially in its rural pockets. However, this is the story of a ‘Rural Bengal Hero’, Mr. Malay Pit, a dedicated social worker who has devoted his life to the holistic development of rural communities in West Bengal. Think of any sector, be it technology, environment, skill development, education, healthcare, or empowerment, he has transformed the position of West Bengal by training, skilling, and uplifting lakhs of people.
Mr. Malay Pit is a name synonymous with transformation and consistent progress in West Bengal and India at large. In the last three decades, through his 100+ skill development centres, he has not only contributed to the skill development of over 10 lakh individuals, but he has also facilitated employment for more than 5 lakh students through his placement cell. His students can be found in some of the biggest companies. He has transformed the lives hundreds of women by turning them into entrepreneurs. Through over 50 academic institutions, including Two Medical Colleges, One B.Tech College, Three Diploma in Engineering Colleges, Twenty Five ITIs, Seven nursing Institutions, Five Paramedical Colleges and Seven B.Ed. and D.El.Ed institutes, he has revitalized rural areas of Bengal as well as many others state of India.

People create schools, hospitals but he went full circle and has built 2 full-fledged cities that have nursing centres, hospitals, colleges for the holistic development of students and citizens. His 1100-bed hospital alone provides affordable healthcare, treating around thousands of patients daily for just _10. He is a true transformer
